Support for setup, capture, processing, and export.

Before recording

Mount or brace the iPhone, use even lighting, keep the target in focus, and lock focus, exposure, and white balance when possible. The app displays a recording-duration guide based on the selected low frequency. Slow movement requires a longer recording.

Distance and visible length

Automatic center-point distance uses available device depth or AR tracking. It may show unavailable when the device, scene, lighting, or target surface cannot provide a reliable metric measurement. You can still use manual calibration for visible-length measurements.

Processing and export

Keep the app open while processing. Saved video can play at 1×, 2×, 4×, or 8×; the selected speed changes only presentation time, not the original capture-time analysis. Grant Photos access to save results, or use the share sheet to export them elsewhere.

Troubleshooting

If the preview does not start, verify Camera permission in iOS Settings and reopen the app. If the result is noisy, reduce gain, improve lighting, stabilize the phone, and avoid reflections or flickering light sources. Ensure adequate free storage before long recordings.
